Are companies waisting their time with social media profiles?

So what have you been hearing about social media? "its the frontier! The Future! The special sauce that makes all marketing successful"
 

Social media is generating a lot of buzz among businesses. Those who can leverage social networks to distribute business content and increase the community of advocate for their business experience significant growth in revenue.
Social media provides a platform for direct communication between your customers, prospects and employees. What is more, it is a key driver of content distribution and brand visibility online.
Most businesses need to focus on the major social media platforms this includes, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
From my personal perspective it’s not a waste of time; social media platforms need to be monitored effectively so that they can keep people updated with whats happening in an organisation.

Social media platforms play an important role in an organisation first and foremost:
 
 
•Drives traffic– most people interact with on social media platforms and through the posts and tweets.

•Customer retention – it builds relationships with existing and potential customers and thoroughly engages with them. It also helps to get the opportunity to communicate with people about the things that really interest them.
•Brand awareness –help people to know more about the company
•Attract target audiences – through the social media platforms companies can attract more people who then find some useful information they need.

 


It is not fairy dust that makes business leads come rushing in for the company. Its Hardwork!!
